Offline Access Maps on Android with Navigation & Compass


RMapsThe GPS navigation is become an essential required when finding or driving out to a new place. But practically when you are driving to a place where there is no network connection then it’s useless and the catch is there is no offline map or navigator application available for Android phones. So offline GPS might be handy in sometime and in course of time when you have no internet connection. So what you need is an offline maps on your mobile phone.
RMaps is an Android apps which allows the purpose of browsing the maps without the need of internet connection on your mobile phone. In other words, RMaps provides offline maps on your mobile phone. It includes zoom in, zoom option, distance measurement tool, auto rotate maps, a compass and option of adding a point of interest which can be added by tapping for two seconds on the map location which will show you a windows with name of the POI, description, lats and longitude details.

RMaps integrates new online maps such as Microsoft maps, Virtual Earth, Maps China, OSM Public Transport, Yandex Maps, Google Maps URL and other maps. You can also request he developer to integrate your localized map that you know like MapmyIndia available for Indians.

Download through QR Code: To download RMaps using QR code you need to have a barcode scanner on your mobile phone. Don’t worry barcode scanner is available for free download on Android handset. You should point the camera on to the following bar code to install RMaps.
