The Asus Eee Pad Transformer on the other hand is also a handy tablet, deserves to be among the top Android tablets. Asus Eee Pad Transformer was announced at CES 2011 and it was launched on March 30, 2011. Asus latest development ofPadfone is also making some waves in the industry which would be the first Android 4.0 device.

The Asus Eee Pad Transformer has 10 inches IPS capacitive touchscreen display. The IPS technology found in Apple iPad 2 is applied here which provides practically a better viewing angles and images are much sharper. It comes with multi-touch input, accelerometer sensor for auto rotate in landscape and vertical mode, Gyro sensor and ASUS waveshare user interface.

Asus Eee Pad Transformer gets Android Honeycomb 3.0 operating system powered by Google. Also the Honeycomb 3.0 default operating system can be upgraded to Honeycomb 3.1. It can be also upgraded to Honeycomb 3.2 with the latest update dated August 2, 2011.

It has memory card slot for expansion of memory to 32 GB using microSD card. The device also includes connectivity through WiFi, a HDMI port and two USB 2.0 ports. The stock android music player in this tablet offers rich experience and displays album cover, on-screen controls and track information. Playing music through the provided 3.5 mm headset jack is very good with SRS surround sound effect. Coming to the video watching, it delivers a delight experience as the video in MPEG 4 formats are played very smoothly with no slowdown.
It comes with Polaris Office 3.0 editor for Word, Excel, PowerPoint and I not sure how this might be helpful. With a default PDF viewer and adobe flash 10.2 are the other features. The web browsing experience is also amazing with smooth scrolling and faster internet.
